However, better-than-expected operating income and margins helped lift the stock as well as revenue in its Atlantic and Pacific regions. AT & T — The telecommunications giant added 7.5% after a third-quarter earnings beat. The company reported an adjusted 64 cents per share on $30.4 billion in revenue, while analysts polled by LSEG forecast 62 cents per share and $30.19 billion. Netflix added 8.76 million subscribers in the quarter, while analysts polled by StreetAccount forecast 5.49 million. Lam Research — The semiconductor stock slipped more than 5% after Lam’s forward guidance for the fiscal second quarter fell short of Wall Street expectations. This overshadowed earnings and revenue for the previous quarter that beat estimates.
